I am so very excited (and scared as hell) to be walking 60 miles over three days to demonstrate my determination in finding a cure for breast cancer. Every minute, somewhere in the world, someone dies from breast cancer. That is why I am walking and fundraising for the Komen 3-Day.

As a survivor, who is uncomfortably living with survivors guilt, I am walking for all the people I know and all the people I don't know who have lost their lives due to this incurable disease. I feel strongly about giving back to the community that has supported me with open arms since my diagnoses in October of 2013.

This event is October 2-4, 2015 in Philadelphia, PA.

In order to participate, walkers such as myself (not the walking dead), are required to raise a minimum donation of $2,300.00, so that means I need to raise at least $4,600 because Lucia and I are walking together.  I would really appreciate your donation of $40.00 (or more) to help me reach this goal.  As my gift for your donation, I would love to send you a set of my handmade note cards.  This is my $40 from 40 people campaign.

I will be keeping an updated list of all donations right here on my website, so check back often and please make sure to let me know if you prefer to remain anonymous, otherwise I will gladly post your name so everyone knows you are a supporter in the fight against breast cancer!

I prefer not to be defined by cancer, but my life has certainly changed because of it.
Today, the simplicity of life and small moments of joy is what drives me.
Thanks for following my journey!
