It may sound simple to some, but raising $2,300 per person (for a total of $4,600) in donations, in order to walk in an amazing 3-day event in support of breast cancer awareness and research, is a scary task being first-timers!

Here's where I will share all the fundraising activities and how we will reach our goals, and possibly exceed them.

Our fundraising began mid March and the event is on October 2, 2015.

GOAL:  $4,600.00 to Komen plus cost of travel and hotel to Philly
Direct Donations Received: (As of August 20, 2015)
Komen 3-Day Team: A Tale of 2 Boobies
     Lucia Camarda - $810.00
     Shelly Straub - $529.50

$40 from 40 people campaign:
   Patrick Lorraine - $50.00

April Gift Basket Auction: $521.00
May Gift Basket Auction: $101.50
June Gift Basket Auction: $384.00
August Gift Basket Auction: $287.00

Badass BBQ for Breast Cancer: $1400.00

DIRECT DONATION - COMPLETED
If you would like a tax deduction receipt and would like to donate directly to our Komen campaign pages, we certainly won't complain!  Here are the links to both of our pages:

I prefer not to be defined by cancer, but my life has certainly changed because of it.
Today, the simplicity of life and small moments of joy is what drives me.
Thanks for following my journey!
