Heart Card Campaign
"Have a heart, Send a card"

If you are interested in sending someone a smile - consider the "Heart Card Campaign", which initiates a card tree.

Simply copy and paste the italicized letter below, insert the person's name, address and short statement of their sadness and let it go viral. Send it to your email contacts and/or your Facebook friends. If you need help getting started, feel free to contact me!  Also, make sure to put me on that viral list and I will for sure send out a card!

I am initiating a CARD TREE.

Similar to “phone tree” a CARD TREE has the same concept.   I have chosen YOU to mail a card of inspiration to the person listed below. The rule of thumb with the card tree is to mail one card yourself and pass this message on to a friend.  Each person forward will mail one card and pass the message along.  Please do not break any branches off the card tree, because the person listed below could really use a smile right now.

I received this message from a friend who speaks from past experience.  She says “having gone through treatments for cancer, I can honestly say that too many phone calls, texts, and social messages via facebook or email were more than I could keep up with, BUT getting a card or letter in the mail really brightened my day in a non-intrusive way.  The phone messages, text messages and social words have come and gone but the one thing I am left with is my box of cards.  It brings me joy to re-read my cards of hope and inspiration.”

Please help me give this gift to someone in need.

NAME, INCLUDE A SMALL PARAGRAPH ABOUT THE PERSON AND WHY THEY DESERVE A CARD.  My friend could use some hope and inspiration.  Even if you do not know this person, I ask you to send a card anyway.  This is what's known as a random act of kindness.

I prefer not to be defined by cancer, but my life has certainly changed because of it.
Today, the simplicity of life and small moments of joy is what drives me.
Thanks for following my journey!
